Depois de ficar no “quase” contra o Corinthians, Papagaio deve ser titular no jogo contra o Bahia, neste domingo, às 16h, na Fonte Nova, pela 25ª rodada do Brasileirão. Formado no Palmeiras e em grande fase no sub-20, o centroavante tem recebido elogios do técnico Luiz Felipe Scolari e vai se aproveitar da ausência de Deyverson, suspenso, e de Borja, poupado para a Libertadores.

Nos treinos antes do Dérbi do domingo passado, chegou a ser usado com os titulares, mas Deyverson foi quem jogou e fez o gol da vitória.

Na avaliação do treinador, o jovem centroavante “joga bem, é inteligente e protege bem a bola”. Os números em 2018 pelo juniores são ótimos: ele é o artilheiro do Palmeiras no Paulista sub-20 (dez gols em nove jogos) e o artilheiro de todo o Brasileiro sub-20 (sete gols em seis jogos) – ao todo, são 22 gols em 29 gols na temporada. Desses 22, 17 saíram nas últimas 15 partidas.

Papagaio começou a ganhar nome dentro do Palmeiras no futsal. Ele era um destaque no time de salão e chegou a ser campeão sul-americano sub-17. Esta carreira teve de ser interrompida, pois o clube não tem time sub-20 no esporte e ele queria permanecer no Verdão. Por isso, recusou propostas de outras equipes para tentar seguir no futebol.

Além dele, Artur deve ser outro garoto usado por Felipão no jogo deste domingo. O Verdão defende a liderança do returno e tenta manter-se vivo na disputa pelo título brasileiro: hoje, está a três pontos do Internacional, líder, e do São Paulo, segundo colocado.

وتلاقى الفريقان على ملعب “سوبتيفاي كامب نو” في قمة منافسات الجولة السادسة والعشرين من الليجا، حيث فاز برشلونة بهدفين مقابل هدف.

وشهدت المباراة تسجيل ماركو أسينيسو لهدف في الدقيقة 83 لصالح ريال مدريد ولكن تقنية الفيديو ألغته بداعِ التسلل، قبل أن يسجل فرانك كيسيه هدف الفوز القاتل لفريق برشلونة في الدقيقة 93.

وشكك كارلو أنشيلوتي في صحة قرار إلغاء هدف أسينسيو، وهو ما نال تعجب تشافي.

وقال مدرب برشلونة في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية: “التسلل واضح، لقد فاجأني أنشيلوتي بتصريحاته، الأمر يتعلق بكونه تسللًا أم لا، هنا الحالة تسلل، لم يعد هناك نقاش، النتيجة عادلة”.

وأضاف تشافي: “إنه تسلل واضح كما قلت، لقد مرت 5 أو 10 دقائق مجنونة، يبدو لي أننا كنا أفضل، سأشاهد المباراة مرة أخرى، عندما سجل كيسيه، شعرت أن العدالة قد تحققت، ولكن في كثير من الأحيان لا يحدث هذا في كرة القدم”.

Former Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful and opening batsman Junaid Siddique have been recalled for the unofficial Twenty20 tri-series against Zimbabwe and South Africa next month after reasonable performances in Bangladesh Premier League. They replaced Nazimuddin and Jahurul Islam, both of whom were in the top-order during the Asia Cup in March.The Akram Khan-led selection panel also left out Shahadat Hossain and Imrul Kayes and included allrounders Farhad Reza and Ziaur Rahman. The selectors have also retained uncapped wicketkeeper-batsman Anamul Haque and fast bowler Abul Hasan, who replaced Shafiul Islam midway through the Asia Cup after Shafiul had hurt his shoulder.This season, Ashraful and Junaid have batted like they used to in the early part of their careers in the Twenty20 format. Ashraful has the most runs in T20Is for Bangladesh and was the second highest scorer among country’s batsmen in the BPL with 258 runs at a strike-rate of 112.66 including a fifty. Junaid scored 238 runs in the BPL and had been in good form in first-class cricket. He played his last T20I in August 2009 against West Indies.”Junaid [Siddique] has a very good reputation as a Twenty20 player and most importantly, he played well in BPL and in the later part of the National Cricket League,” Akram said.”Ashraful also looked good in the domestic competition as he always does. It is also true that he cannot fulfill our expectations, but we want to keep faith in him because he is a very good option for Twenty20 cricket,” he added.Ashraful is currently playing for Blackheath Club in the Kent Premier League and will return to the country on June 8.But many will closely follow how Ziaur steps up to the bigger stage in his first recall since being named in the provisional squad for the inaugural World Twenty20 five years ago. A 25-year-old allrounder, Ziaur’s medium-pace bowling has been overshadowed by his big-hitting capabilities.Ziaur tapered off during the intervening period but has had a much better season for Khulna, his first-class side, before making important top-order contributions for Chittagong Kings in the BPL. In the country’s top one-day league, the Dhaka Premier League, Ziaur has been instrumental in Old DOHS Sports Club’s stay at the top of the table with some quick runs during the Powerplays.

He is a good prospect,” Akram said. “On the other hand Imrul [Kayes] is a good opening batsman but he is suited for the 50-overs game.”It would be the first opportunity for skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and the team management, led by newly-appointed coach Richard Pybus, to assess resources in the Twenty20 format. O lateral-direito Michel Macedo deve assinar ainda nesta quinta-feira contrato para ser oficializado como reforço do Corinthians. O jogador de 28 anos estava livre no mercado e acertou vínculo válido até dezembro de 2021 após passar por exames médicos no clube.

Michel Macedo estava livre no mercado desde junho, quando encerrou seu contrato com o Las Palmas (ESP). A proximidade da contratação foi confirmada pela diretoria do Corinthians após a vitória sobre o Flamengo, que garantiu a vaga na final da Copa do Brasil, na última quarta-feira.

Revelado pelo Flamengo e com passagem pelo Atlético-MG, Michel Macedo só poderá atuar pelo Corinthians na próxima temporada, já que o período de inscrições para o Brasileiro e Copa do Brasil já acabou. No entanto, ele será integrado imediatamente para começar a preparação e adaptação para o ano que vem.

Ireland and Scotland have been handed a financial boost by the ICC after being the first two Associate nations to receive a US$500,000 funding bonus.The two countries will received the cash injection, which has come from the ICC’s targeted assistance and performance programme (TAPP), for the next three years and it is part of the ICC’s aim to develop greater competition below the Full Members.Ireland have been the stand-out Associate in recent years with notable scalps at the last two World Cups by beating Pakistan in 2007 and England in 2011 and have recently stated an ambitious ten-year plan to become a Test nation.Warren Deutrom, the Cricket Ireland chief executive, said: “We are delighted and grateful to ICC for this award which will help Cricket Ireland achieve their stated objectives. We shall be exploring in greater detail the award and terms of the grant with ICC management in order to ascertain how to prioritise the funding towards the proposals that we outlined in our applications.”Scotland intend to use the money to help line up more high-profile matches against the top international sides at both home and abroad.Their chief executive Roddy Smith said: “We are obviously delighted by today’s ICC board decisions. The additional support will enable us to enhance our national team programme over the next three years and support our young developing side in continuing their recent progress.”Since 2009 we have been in the top three associate sides in 50-over and multi-day cricket and this fact along with our ambitious application has enabled us to be one of the first two members to be awarded TAPP funding. The hard work will start now in putting these additional plans into action.”Meanwhile, Scotland have also been successful in lobbying the ICC to give them permission to select players with Scottish parentage and by-pass a problem created by the lack of Scottish passports. The current situation is caused by the ICC’s eligibility criteria being based on nationality as defined by birthplace or passport.As Scotland does not issue its own passports, and the British passport is not accepted as it covers numerous ICC members, players who have Scottish born parents but were themselves born outside of Scotland were not eligible unless they moved to Scotland for a four year qualification period.”The issue has been a prominent one for a number of years and we welcome the decision to allow players with Scottish parentage to be able to apply to the ICC for exceptional circumstances,” Smith said. “As the Scottish passport does not exist, and parentage is not a recognised criterion, it has meant that many potential players who have one or both parents born in Scotland have been ineligible to play if they were born outside the country. Cricket was almost unique in Scottish sport by being unable to select such players.”

Após início equilibrado, Avaí cresce
​Com as duas equipes precisando vencer para cumprirem seus respectivos objetivos, o jogo começou aberto, já que Avaí e Boa Esporte buscavam marcar gols. Tanto Maurício Kozlinski quanto Fabrício, os dois goleiros, tiveram que trabalhar para evitar possíveis tentos ainda na parte inicial do duelo.

Com o passar do tempo, o Avaí foi crescendo no jogo, e aos poucos, passou a dominar as ações do jogo. A primeira grande chance foi com Getúlio, que acertou o travessão, e com Rodrigão, que parou em Fabrício. Aos 34 minutos, o placar foi aberto, quando Getúlio aproveitou um rebote de uma cabeçada do camisa 27, após cruzamento vindo do lado direito.

Avaí dobra a vantagem
O começo da etapa complementar foi marcada por uma expulsão ‘relâmpago’. Hélder, ala do Boa Esporte, levou um cartão amarelo aos 14 minutos, por falta em Capa e, logo dois minutos depois, levou o segundo amarelo e, por consequência, o vermelho, após cometer falta dura em Getúlio.

Após isso, o Avaí passou a controlar ainda mais o jogo e ainda contou com um pênalti, após Renato ser derrubado por Douglas Baggio, mas que Rodrigão desperdiçou. Apesar disso, Luanzinho não decepcionou e, aos 42 minutos, após receber passe de Jones Carioca, finalizou de primeira e contou com o desvio na defesa para dar números finais ao duelo.

Little did they know then that it was the last time they would bat together in an ODI for five years. Both batsmen were kept out of the West Indies side for different reasons but on July 7, 2012, Gayle and Samuels, both Jamaicans, renewed their association and marked the occasion with centuries against New Zealand at Sabina Park.Gayle made 125 off 107 balls, his 20th one-day century, which took him past Brian Lara’s West Indies record of 19. For Samuels, the unbeaten 101 was only his third hundred but it was his first in the Caribbean. Their 129-run partnership for the third wicket was the highest in West Indies total of 315 and set up a 55-run victory.”I played exactly the way I wanted to today,” Samuels, who was Man of the Match, said. “Chris set the stage with his power at the top of the innings and then I was able to come in and add the finishing touches. It was an enjoyable day for me and the team. It was special to do it with so many people who have done so much for me in my life watching.”It is my first hundred in the Caribbean, the others have been away. The others have been out of my ‘comfort zone’ … but this one has been in my ‘comfort zone’. It’s been a while since I last batted with Chris, so batting with him today was wonderful.”Gayle hit nine sixes in his innings and could have gone on to make a huge score had he not been dismissed in the 38th over.
