A sequência cansativa de jogos abateu o elenco do Cruzeiro. O técnico Mano Menezes poupou os 11 titulares, que jogaram contra o Ceará, no treino desta terça-feira, na Toca da Raposa. Com isso, os reservas devem ser testados mais uma vez contra o Vasco, nesta quarta-feira, às 21h45, no Mineirão.

Os 11 titulares contra o Ceará não participaram do treino com bola. Sendo que Edilson (recuperação do pós-jogo) e Romero (corte no pé direito) sequer foram a campo, fazendo trabalho interno. Os demais atletas participaram da tradicional roda de bobinho e depois de um treino leve físico.

Além dos poupados, Mano Menezes deve contar com o retorno de Robinho,que cumpriu suspensão na última rodada, e deverá retornar no lugar de Bruno Silva. Além dele, o volante Henriquerecuperado do desconforto muscular que o tirou dos jogos contra Palmeiras e Ceará, entra no lugar de Romero.

Quem também esteve nas atividades foi o atacante Raniel, favorito para assumir a vaga de Sassá, que cumprirá suspensão. O jovem ficará como centroavante na partida contra os cariocas.

توعد مرتضى منصور رئيس نادي الزمالك، الإعلامي أحمد شوبير، مُشيرًا إلى أنه تقدم بشكوى ضده في الشركة الراعية، مُهددًا بأنه سيمنع دخول كاميرات قناة “أون تايم سبورت” لأي مباراة للأبيض حال استمراره في الحديث عن القلعة البيضاء.

وقال مرتضى في تصريحات عبر قناة “الزمالك”: “أحمد شوبير لا يُقال عليه كابتن أو أستاذ في قناة الزمالك، يُقال عليه (واد)، وكل ما قاله أبلغت به الشركة الراعية، وأقسم بالله لو استمر سأمنع دخول أي كاميرات لمباريات الفريق، أنا كنت أتجاهلك ولا أرد عليك ولكن سأظهر عبر القناة يوم الجمعة المُقبل وسأفضحك”.

وتابع: “أنت رأيتني في العزاء وركضت سريعًا لأنك جبان، (لو كنت شفتك كنت هكلك علقة) أريدك أن تجهز نفسك لحلقة يوم الجمعة المُقبل”.

وواصل: “شوبير يتحدث عن رحيل زكريا الوردي وإصابة إبراهيما نداي، ويقول هذا عملي، (لا إنت رخم) وتم طردك من طنطا، ولو أنت رجل حقًا اسأل محمود الخطيب رئيس الأهلي عن الأموال التي حصل عليها من تركي آل الشيخ، واسئله عن تقرير صندوق تحيا مصر وهل تسلموا الساعات أم لا”.

وزاد: “احترم نفسك، هذه ليست قناة ولا إذاعة والدتك، كن مؤدبًا ولا تفتح فمك، أنا أرسلت كل كلامك للشركة المتحدة، لو وافقوا على هذا الكلام إذًا لن يكون هناك رعاية ولا بث”.

وأردف: “هل أنا وقعت على عقد الرعاية لكي تسألوني عن قيمته؟، وتقول يا شوبير إنه ليس من حقي أن أتعاقد على تأجير محلات نادي الزمالك لمدة 20 عامًا (يا غبي)، القانون واضح، لو كنت وقعت على مدة أكبر سأحتاج موافقة الجمعية العمومية، أنت تتحدث عن أكبر محامي في مصر”.

واستمر: “شوبير يفتعل فتنة، لو رجل قل كم حصلت على عمولة من صفقة صلاح محسن، نحن لا نُخبئ شيئًا، وأنت تُسبب إحراجًا للشركة الراعية، نحن لدينا مستحقات متأخرة بقيمة 20 مليون جنيه عندهم وهم لا يمتلكون أموالًا في الوقت الحالي”.

واختتم: “وجودك في الإعلام وصمة عار، أنت سافرت مع زوجتك إلى السعودية، وزوجتك قالت لـ تركي آل الشيخ ألا توجد ساعات لنا يا ولي النعم.. (اختشي على دمك عيب) شوبير أحد المحميين، وليس من المعقول كل يوم أشتكي للشركة الراعية، كيف تريد أن ترعاني وكل يوم هذا الشخص يهد في النادي”.

Ricky Ponting has escaped with a reprimand from the ICC after the incident that resulted in a damaged television in Australia’s dressing room during the win over Zimbabwe in Ahmedabad on Monday. Ponting was not fined and there was no formal hearing, after he accepted a level one charge and the reprimand from the match referee Roshan Mahanama.Ponting was visibly frustrated as he left the field after being run out, and he threw his groin protector at his kit bag, only for it bounce up and hit the corner of the television. The Australian camp stressed that the damage to the TV was accidental and he immediately reported it, but the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) still filed a complaint with the BCCI.Ponting was found to have breached clause 2.1.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which relates to “abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an international match”. However, while the level one charge could have carried a fine of up to 50% of Ponting’s match fee, the ICC accepted that the incident was unintentional.”Ricky knows that his action was in breach of the code, involving a brief moment of frustration,” Mahanama said. “That said, it was clear that the damage he caused was purely accidental and without malice, he apologised shortly after the incident at the ground and immediately agreed to pay for the damage.”It was the second time in two months that Ponting found himself charged with a level one offence, after he was fined 40% of his match fee for the Boxing Day Test, over a prolonged debate with the umpire Aleem Dar over a decision review that went against the Australians. The latest incident has captured the attention of the local media, with several newspapers reporting on the morning after the game that Ponting had smashed the TV with his bat, which was not the case.

Daniel Vettori has said that making the World Cup semi-finals six times is a huge achievement for a small nation like New Zealand

He is the important one.At the best of times, Vettori is abrupt – probably not intentionally, but because it’s part of his character. He is a no-nonsense kind of guy who gives a straight answer to most questions. Whether he expected to be sitting in a press conference as the only non-subcontinental team captain at the World Cup semi-finals, he won’t say, but he seems rightly annoyed with being asked if his team is excited to have got this far.”It’s the semi-final of the World Cup, everyone is ecstatic,” he said dryly. Of course they are. New Zealand have proven themselves to be one of the top four teams in the tournament. They beat the odds. After a group stage which saw them record victory over only one major team, Pakistan, and get thumped by two others, Sri Lanka and Australia, they came into the quarter-finals as one of the weaker sides. Very few people expected them to raise their game enough to beat South Africa and even when talking about that victory, very few people say that it was New Zealand who won the game. Most say it was South Africa who lost it.Vettori doesn’t really want to talk about that anymore, because he has more important things on his mind. “We need to move on pretty quickly from the South Africa game. We’re proud of our achievement, but we need to concentrate on the semi-final.” Most people paid him very little attention when he made that point, probably because most don’t expect New Zealand to get past the semi-finals. “Everyone wants to talk about our record [of always going out at the semi-final stage], but this is an amazing achievement for a small country,” Vettori said, which hinted that he was satisfied enough with having come this far. He recovered quickly though. “We have our expectations, it’s irrelevant what people say. We reached the Champions Trophy final in 2009, there we went one step further.” New Zealand were horribly outplayed in that match, losing to Australia by six wickets. But, it was an important exercise for them, because they played in a final of an ICC tournament – for the first time since the 2000 Champions Trophy, which they won, beating India – and experienced the pressures of a do-or-die encounter of a different kind.Vettori knows consistency is the key. “When we’ve won well, we’ve followed it up with a poor performance,” he said referring to the group stage. “We’ve got to make sure we have another big performance in the bag because Sri Lanka will be very strong in home conditions.”Sri Lanka have looked the side to beat and on a pitch where they asserted their authority over England, they will be tough to handle. Vettori is toying with the idea of picking three spinners for the match. “The fact that it’s a used wicket may allow us to do that, but Sri Lanka have grown up playing spin.”Getting their combination right for the semi-final will not be the trickiest thing for New Zealand, it will be making sure that that combination works well on the day. Vettori said that they were fortunate to have “one or two batsmen and a bowler or two who could stand up” in the knockouts. “It was Jesse Ryder and Jacob Oram who did it against South Africa. That made the difference and it may have to be someone else who does it now.”Vettori himself, playing in either his penultimate or final match as captain, may be the man to shoulder the responsibility. He knows it’s his last chance, as he is firm in his decision to step down as captain. “I’ve made the decision. You need fresh ideas and people get sick of you.” To leave office as the blushing bride probably doesn’t quite fit his image either, but Vettori would chose to be the bride over the bridesmaid any day.

But in a tumultuous winter for Glamorgan, he quit the playing staff after he was replaced as captain by South African batsman Alviro Petersen.Dalrymple, who played 27 ODIs for England, will not be available for selection in all competitions for Middlesex until 3 June.”At a pinch we could have rushed Jamie’s return so that he was available for the start of the season,” said Middlesex director of cricket Angus Fraser. “But I did not think this was right. I believe the players who have trained hard this winter deserve the first opportunity to stake a claim for first team selection. وقال فاروق في تصريحات إذاعية عبر أثير راديو “القاهرة الكبرى”: “كنت أقوم بأعمال نائب رئيس اللجنة، ولكن لم يكن هناك لجنة، وعند تشكيل اللجنة لم يتم وضعي في هذا المنصب، وخروجي جاء احترامًا لتاريخي”.

وتابع: “كلاتينبرج رئيس اللجنة، هو المسؤول عن تشكيلها، وأبلغونا أن كلاتينبرج هو من شكلها، ولكن هو كان متواجدًا معنا قبلها ولم يُبلغنا بأي أمر من ذلك، ويحب على اتحاد الكرة احترام تاريخنا”.

وأضاف: “قبل تشكيل اللجنة، كنت أنا من يعين حكام المباريات وتامر دُري يعمل على تعيين الفار بالإضافة إلى أيمن دجيش، وكنا نستشير رئيس لجنة الحكام، والتحكيم تطور عن المواسم الماضية رغم وجود الأخطاء”.
