أعلن نادي أسوان تعاقده مع ميدو مصطفى لاعب نادي البنك الأهلي؛ ضمن خطة تدعيمات الفريق الجنوبي استعداداً للمشاركة في الدوري المصري الممتاز الموسم المقبل.

وانضم صاحب الـ 28 عاماً، والذي يلعب في مركز الظهير الأيمن، من البنك الأهلي إلى صفوف فريق أسوان على سبيل الإعارة لمدة موسم بنية البيع.

وتعد هذه الصفقة هي الثالثة عشر لـ أسوان، بعد أن نجح في ضم كل من الجابوني ماليك إيفونا والحارس محمد الغندور والجناح محمود عبد الحكيم والجناح المغربي أحمد بلحاج ويوسف أحمد حسن، إبراهيم عايش ومحمد شيكا ومحمود صابر، عبد الرحمن العشري، ميدو العطار، والليبي محمود بن والي، وصابر الشيمي مدافع إيسترن كومباني السابق.

يذكر أن فريق أسوان خاض 3 معسكرات حتى الآن، الأول في القاهرة والثاني في الإسكندرية والثالث في أسوان.

أشاد بيب جوارديولا المدير الفني لفريق مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي، بخصمه إشبيلية ولاعبيه، متحدثًا بعد التتويج بالسوبر الأوروبي.

وواصل بيب: “بعد الدقائق الأولى في الشوط الثاني وجدنا تمريراتنا، وسيطرنا على المباراة أكثر، قرب النهاية سجلنا، وفي الدقائق الأخيرة شعرنا أن الفريق الذي قد يسجل هو نحن، لو سجل إشبيلية هدفًا ثانيًا ربما كان الأمر مستحيلًا بالنسبة لنا”.

وأشار: “إشبيلية لديه لاعبون استثنائيون، حارس مرمى رائع، وظهير دولي، ويتمتع أوليفر توريس بجودة التواصل مع المهاجمين، فهم خطرون في خط الهجوم”.

وأردف جوارديولا: “في الماضي، كان لدي شعور أحيانًا بنقص الحافز عندما فاز الفريق بالكثير من الألقاب، لكن اليوم، لم يكن لدي هذا الشعور”.

Jailson realizou a sua terceira partida na temporada – estreou em 2019 na vitória por 2 a 0 sobre o São Caetano, em 27 de janeiro, pelo Estadual. Pela primeira vez, sofreu gol. E o rebote aproveitado por Matheus Sávio no estádio Rei Pelé, nessa quarta-feira, foi a lamentação do camisa 42.

– Sempre bom voltar a jogar, voltar a defender o Palmeiras junto com meus companheiros. Estava me sentindo muito bem, preparado e confiante para fazer o meu melhor. Infelizmente, não saímos com a vitória por detalhes, mas tenho certeza de que seguiremos forte na competição – apostou.

Um dos principais destaques do Palmeiras na conquista do Campeonato Brasileiro de 2016, quando atuou pela primeira vez na Série A, Jailson acumula números positivos na competição. Em 38 partidas, alcançou25 vitórias, dezempates e somente três derrotas.

Agora, fica a expectativa por mais uma oportunidade. In the space of a couple of months David Warner is likely to go from playing for his country to fighting for his state place. This week he is part of Australia’s Twenty20 team, in October he will be at the Champions League in India for New South Wales, but when the domestic season starts down under he is set to be playing for Eastern Suburbs in Sydney grade cricket.When Warner was thrown into Australia’s Twenty20 side to face South Africa in Melbourne he hadn’t played a first-class game. He responded with a rampaging 89 from 43 balls and suddenly he was the latest boy-wonder. It was inevitable that after such a rapid rise there would be a sudden fall and Warner struggled to build on his early success when promoted to the 50-over team. From seven ODIs he averages 15.14 and for now he is back as a Twenty20 specialist.”I’m in the Twenty20 and still playing for my country. It’s still a thrill for myself, but I’ve got to work hard,” Warner said. “You can’t get to the top and stay there for the rest of your career. There will be setbacks, this is one of them and it’s another challenge for me to raise the bar for the season coming with New South Wales. I will go back and help them as much as I can, try and get some runs personally to get back in the one-day team.”He is far from certain to be given a berth in the New South Wales team when the season starts. There is a battle for batting positions in the side with a host of internationals on the books. Phillip Hughes, Simon Katich, Phil Jacques, Shane Watson and Michael Clarke are all Blues, and while Watson and Clarke will be in India for a one-day series, the likes of Usman Khawaja, Peter Forrest, and Dominic Thornely are likely to be ahead of Warner, who only made his first-class debut in the final match of last season.”I haven’t spoken to any of the selectors while I’ve been over here. I’ve spoken to the coach a little – I’m in the one-day and Twenty20 side – but with Phil [Hughes] getting dropped he’s got to come back into the team and Phil Jacques is almost fit again so it’s going to be hard for me to get in. I’ve just got to bide my time, go home and start back in grade again with Eastern Suburbs. I love playing with my mates there, it’s home, and I’m in that comfort zone there and hopefully I can put the scores together.”It’s a fairly extraordinary life to lead – playing at the highest level, then fighting for a first-class place – but in many ways a very modern phenomenon. Warner is almost the prototype Twenty20 specialist, with an IPL contact in the bag, but he is desperate to move his game on at all levels. “I’m only young and I want to play Test cricket,” he said. “That’s always been my dream as a kid and it’s what I’ve always wanted to do. I can’t be one of those who just plays Twenty20. Obviously I want to reach my goals that I’ve set and continue that path.”I respect all the decisions that have come my way, like not playing first-class cricket until I’ve put the numbers on the board at grade level. My numbers have added up, but obviously you just have to bide your time. We have a very good and young team at New South Wales and it’s going to be a hard one to crack, but all I can do is keep scoring runs and the rest will take care of itself.”Warner’s numbers in Twenty20 internationals are strong. In eight innings he has only fallen for single figures twice and in the opening match of the World Twenty20 made 63 off 53 balls after two wickets fell in the first over. Against England, at Old Trafford, on Sunday he hit 33 from 26 balls despite admitting he found conditions tough and he hopes further contributions will boost his future prospects.”I couldn’t adapt straight away because there was a bit more pace and bounce and obviously they were targeting one area of more so I had to adapt,” he said. “Hopefully tomorrow I can get a bit more of a free rein so I’m looking forward to it.”I’ve got this next game and if I can put some numbers together then there’s the Champions League followed by an Indian tour over there. If I can get some good totals and keep pressing claims I can make sure my name is up there in the list if any injuries come along. If I keep scoring runs things might happen for me.”What makes it harder for Warner is the sporadic nature of Twenty20 internationals. After these two matches against England, Australia have just three more before the next World Twenty20 in West Indies in April. “It’s just one of those things. In the future they might have three or four [Twenty20] games in the future but at the moment it’s a long time between drinks,” he said. “It does break the momentum a little if you play one game here for Australia then maybe not again for two months. I’ve got to try and cope with that and be positive when I play.”

Umar Gul, the Pakistan fast bowler, will return to international cricket following a nine-month injury layoff, after the selectors included him in the squad for the remainder of the ODI series against Sri Lanka in the UAE. He will join the squad on Sunday, ahead of the third of five matches.”The national selection committee in consultation with the tour selection committee has decided to send Umar Gul to UAE as part of national ODI squad,” the PCB said. “He will join the Pakistan team on December 22.”The decision to pick Gul was made after Pakistan lost the second ODI in Dubai by six wickets despite posting 284, due to sloppy bowling in the death overs. Following the defeat, which left the series 1-1, Pakistan’s captain Misbah-ul-Haq immediately expressed concern about the lack of experience among his bowlers.Gul sustained a knee injury in March during the second ODI against South Africa in Centurion, and missed five series since, including the Champions Trophy. Following the injury, he travelled to Australia for surgery and after six weeks of rest, began his rehabilitation. He eased himself back into competitive cricket by featuring in List A matches in October and went on to play the Department Twenty20 Cup for Habib Bank, but his form remained unimpressive.Gul was to make a return against South Africa in October after regaining full fitness, but lacked match practice and continued his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. He subsequently failed a fitness Test before the announcement of the ODI squad for the Sri Lanka series, and was asked to continue playing domestic cricket to regain his rhythm and form. He did that by taking 11 wickets against Port Qasim Authority in the President’s Trophy.

Domineering hundreds by Michael Clarke and David Warner, a declaration with an impregnable position swiftly achieved and two England wickets in the final hour: things could not have gone much better for Australia as they pressed for the victory that would put them 1-0 up in the Ashes series.Australia stacked up a lead of 560 before declaring with slightly more than an hour remaining on the third day and they made excellent use of the 15 overs they reserved for a bowl against a weary and demoralised England side as Michael Carberry and Jonathan Trott both perished.That life could not be going more swimmingly for Australia was apparent when Carberry played on against Ryan Harris, his attempted block spinning off a thick inside edge between his legs. Trott’s difficulties against the pace of Mitchell Johnson also persisted: fortunate to survive on 7, when a miscued hook fell safely, he fell for 9 when he flicked Johnson off his hips straight to Nathan Lyon, stationed 20 yards in from the square leg boards. Against Johnson, he looks unbalanced both physically and mentally.It could have been worse for England as Alastair Cook dived desperately for the crease to avoid being run out for nought as Kevin Pietersen undertook a characteristically chancy single to get off the mark.Australia could not have envisaged such a dominant position when they were six down for 132 on the first day. No side has made more than 418 in the fourth innings to win a Test, a feat achieved by West Indies against Australia in Antigua in 2003. With two days remaining, they are perfectly placed to achieve the win to back up their confident pre-series chat.To draw, England would have to bat for more overs than in any Test in their history, the Timeless Test in Durban in 1939 apart. To win, they would have to break records by a huge margin. There was a storm in Brisbane a few hours after play, but the daytime forecast on Sunday was just for an occasional heavy shower.Their captain is also restored to full operational efficiency. Clarke fell for 113 from only 130 deliveries shortly before tea, his dismissal caused by perhaps his only ungainly moment as he came down the pitch to Graeme Swann and was bowled as he was drawn into an ugly leg-side slog.His 25th Test hundred, and his fifth at the Gabba, was one of his most heartfelt, coming as it did in the wake of a first-innings dismissal which encouraged a debate over whether his back ailment was causing him problems against short-pitched bowling. He survived a none-too-torrid examination against the short ball before restating his quality with an innings of polished, unfettered strokeplay.Warner’s 124 from 154 balls was equally brisk. He was just as assertive as Clarke, his footwork surely as crisp as it ever has been in his Test career as he attacked England’s limited attack with verve and selectivity. He brought up his hundred with runs off Joe Root, but unlike last summer, on this occasion he only punched the air.His most dismissive moment – planting Stuart Broad straight for six – was followed in the same over by his downfall. His dismissal, caught at the wicket, had an element of one-day cricket about it but it was a rare blemish by Warner, who has rarely played a more measured Test innings.Michael Clarke made his 25th Test hundred and his sixth against England to ram home the advantage•Getty Images

England’s aggressive tactics against Clarke, not short of initial verbals, even extended to allowing Warner singles to get him back on strike – quite an insult for a world-class batsman with a Test average the top side of 50 and an excellent record at the Gabba. During his innings, he joined Ricky Ponting and Greg Chappell as the only batsmen to have made more than 1000 Test runs at the ground and his average there hovers around 100. Rarely has such an accomplished batsman been tactically manoeuvred on to strike in such a fashion.Clarke had decided to take on the pull shot from the outset and he did so with equanimity. England soon abandoned the policy – only Broad looked capable of enforcing it anyway – and they were unable to make much of an impression on a pitch that remained in excellent order for batsmen.Broad never quite revved up the short-ball challenge to maximum, James Anderson, whose approach in any case tends to be more cerebral, did not get much of a look at him, and Chris Tremlett, for all his impressive build, trundled along at barely 130kph. Australia’s markedly enterprising approach to Swann’s offspin, encouraged by their head coach, Darren Lehmann, has also put England’s four-strong attack under strain. His first three overs after lunch, in two spells, cost 38, England’s sense of control destroyed. Swann needs to find an answer – and on Australian pitches he will not find it easy.England took two wickets in the morning session as Australia, 65 for 0 overnight, resumed with a lead of 224. Chris Rogers made a hash of Broad’s morning loosener, recognising the gift of a short and wide delivery but only managing to punt it to point where Carberry accepted a simple catch. Shane Watson also made little impact, making 6 in 27 balls before an attempted pull malfunctioned against Tremlett.England’s desperation was evident in the last over before lunch when they reviewed Swann’s lbw appeal against Warner only for replays to confirm that he had played the ball with his bat and the review was little better than wishful thinking. A second review against Bailey late in the afternoon session failed marginally. There was further frustration for England when for the second time in the match they were timed out as they discussed whether to review. This tougher approach seems set for the series as the umpires, refreshingly, implement the regulations.Clarke was the last of three Australia wickets to fall in an afternoon session which brought Australia 154 runs at a rate of nearly five runs an over.
