A irmã do técnico Jesualdo Ferreira, Maria Manuela Ferreira, morreu em um incêndio no prédio em que vivia na cidade de Mirandela, em Portugal. O incidente aconteceu no final da tarde desta segunda-feira, segundo a imprensa portuguesa. Ela tinha 80 anos e morava sozinha.

Segundo os bombeiros que atenderam a ocorrência, a idosa chegou a sair do apartamento em segurança, mas voltou para buscar as chaves que abriam a porta principal do prédio em que morava. Quando os socorristas chegaram ao local, encontraram Maria Manuela desacordada.

De acordo com a imprensa portuguesa, a irmã de Jesualdo Ferreira foi levada a um hospital local com sinais vitais, mas não resistiu e morreu cerca de uma hora depois.

O Santos se pronunciou nas redes sociais, desejando condolências ao treinador e toda a sua família.

“Desejamos muita força ao técnico Jesualdo Ferreira e família pelo falecimento de sua irmã, Maria Manuela Ferreira, na cidade de Mirandela, em Portugal.⁣ A nação santista está com você, professor.” escreveu o clube.

Na reunião da última segunda-feira, o coordenador de performance do Coxa, Adriano Tambosi, explicou que a ideia é recolocar os atletas em atividade e usar o método aplicado no Bayern de Munique-ALE.

‘Estamos baseados naquilo que vem sendo apontado pela CBF, em discussões constantes dos médicos do clube e alguns protocolos que já saíram, como por exemplo da Liga Portuguesa, que são estratégias de retorno aos treinos e das atividades gradativas dos atletas’, explicou Tambosi.

‘Discutimos inúmeros pontos relacionados a todos os cuidados com a saúde dos atletas e membros que participariam destes treinamentos. Quais estratégias teríamos que adotar desde a chegada dos profissionais ao Centro de Treinamento, como seriam feitas as triagens pelos médicos do clube a qual todos passariam. Já nessa triagem definíssemos se o atleta ou membro da comissão teria condição de participar do treino’, destacou.

Apesar da expectativa em retomar os treinamentos, ainda não existe uma data definida pela diretoria do Coritiba para a reapresentação do elenco.

Steve Howey has exclusively told Football FanCast it would be “mad” for Manchester City to sell Raheem Sterling this summer.

Sterling made 49 appearances but scored just one Premier League goal in the final three months of last season.

The loss of form resulted in the former Liverpool winger reportedly being put up for sale by City boss Pep Guardiola.

Premier League rivals Arsenal are among those to have raised an interest in Sterling, while it was also reported the 26-year-old could be offered to Tottenham Hotspur in a swap deal as the Premier League champions look to sign Harry Kane.

However, Sterling went on to impress at Euro 2020, with him scoring three goals en route to England reaching their first-ever European Championships final.

Although he could not inspire England to glory at Wembley, Sterling has been named in UEFA’s Euro 2020 team of the tournament.

Ex-City defender Howey has called for Guardiola to have a rethink and block bids for Sterling.

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, he said: “I think it would be mad to sell Sterling. Where is he going to go, first and foremost?

“We all know how much of a quality player he is and every player has a bit of a dodgy spell. Guardiola loves him and I think Sterling was annoyed when these kind of reports came out.”

At the time, Lee was the raw rookie trying to knock the world champion off his perch, while Shoaib Akhtar had proved himself the fastest man alive.Lee’s sharpest delivery of that summer came in at 154.8kph – just pipping Shoaib’s 154.7kph, and Lee walked away as the new world champion of speed.Over the following two and a half years, the pair have swapped the title between themselves as they have notched faster, and still faster, speeds. But that 154.8kph from Lee has remained the fastest-recorded delivery by IDS Sports on Australian soil.In the 1998/99 season, Darren Gough was fastest on the IDS guns when he eclipsed the 150kph mark in Sydney, but only just.In the seasons to follow Lee has been fastest, recording 154.8kph in his rookie year, 150.0kph in Perth 2000/1 and 154.6kph in the most recent summer.Brett Lee left Australian shores and in March of this year bowled the two fastest balls of modern times at 157.4 and 157.3kph on the EDH guns in South Africa. أعلنت رابطة بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز عن تغيير موعدين لمباراتين في إطار الجولة السابعة والثلاثين والتي تقام على مدار أيام 15، 16 و17 مايو الجاري.

وأصدرت الرابطة بيانًا تقوم من خلاله بتغيير موعد مباراة مانشستر سيتي ضد وست هام يونايتد في الملعب الأولمبي بالعاصمة البريطانية “لندن” من الساعة الثالثة عصرًا إلى الواحدة ظهرًا بتوقيت “القاهرة” يوم الأحد 15 مايو.
